The Thope family is officially dead.

Douglas is not an adult. He's just a child. He's had to make adult decisions when he shouldn't have had to. He's had to set his father straight, and today, he set Hope straight. Once he had to set them both straight by living with Steffy.

Caroline IS his mother, and she would have been there all of his life if she could have. I hope he always carries her memory and Hope should have been promoting that.

Sure, Caroline is his mother, but he said it in a way to express that Hope is not.
Just because Massimo is Ridge's dad it doesn't mean Eric is not his dad too.
To Douglas Hope is not mom anymore.

I actually thought Douglas spoke some truth today..that Hope didn't love his dad enough to be his wife so they can be a real family. He's hurt but I don't think he purposely tried to hurt Hope..I think he loved both moms, but he wants to go with his daddy which for me is just fine. I would much preferred Hope has no ties to the devil or Douglas..she gets enough crap from violent bully Steffy already. Today, it felt like a Thope closure to me. They're simply 2 people who ain't on the same page and imo it's much healthier to end it.

I think the fact that he was able to point out that she's not his mom says more than anything. He doesn't need Hope if she isn't doing what he wants. She must focus on her child that will love her no matter who she is with and not Thomas's kid that would turn on her the second Caroline would resurrect.
The only way Thope can be 100% over is to take Douglas from Hope and I guess the writers think it's time.

Yes, it's much better this way. Hope should now do some major soul searching and focus on Beth!

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
