It was a lie and disingenuous for them to act like the day Sheila "died" was the end of KB's role as Sheila. Even if it's only in dreams or whatever, she's still playing the role, so....

They 100% could have stayed quiet and let the story play out. With people thinking whatever they want. It all seems silly. They couldn’t even wait for the episode to air everywhere.
