just because a couple experienced betrayals doesn't mean they didn't share happy times so i wouldn't necessarily call it a pretense to highlight the good times


When Liam doesn’t acknowledge or admit that he had a significant betrayal with Steffy and Bill and the show pretends it never happened, that’s gaslighting to me.

he did acknowledge it though, in his conversations with ridge last year when he was reflecting back on his and steffy's relationship
