Maybe it’s just because I find Bridget not exciting and with no real drama or potential for it, that I think a Bridget/Finn pairing would doom him.

Because Finn is her soulmate (Steffy's words) and the father of her son? She would absolutely care plus Steffy is jealous type.

I disagree. As a huge Finn fan myself, I think a pairing with Bridget could do wonders for his character, and from their interactions onscreen, the actors work well together. The potential is actually endless; she's the only female character on canvas (regular/recurring) that could work for Finn.
