The promotion of B&B went downhill (Off Topic)

Sorry for the Off-Topic but this needs to be said.

1) No more "NEXT on Bold and Beautiful" since late 2018. They used to release a 30 seconds PROMO every day. The last one I see on Youtube is from the episode #7936.

2) No more ''bonus scenes'' on social medias since the Covid break in 2020. They used to post these bonus clips on CBS.com and Youtube. Now you have to rely on X/Facebook/Instagram fandoms. Or find a way to watch the episodes on 10play (Australia) or watch them in another language (Italian, French, Spanish). If you live in the United States and aren't a social media addict, you're never going to see these scenes. It's too bad because these bonus clips are more entertaining than the actual episode.

3) Hot clips are now geoblocked on Youtube. It wasn't the case until recently. Very difficult to find them if you aren't in the States.

4) No more printed SID (SoapsInDepth) since 2018. And no more printed SOD (SoapOperaDigest) since November 2023. The only 2 reliable Soap magazines ended. As a result, no more Sweeps or Previews in January, February, May, July and November. Less and less quotes and opinions from the actors and writers. All we have now is websites like TVinsider or gossip blogs with crumbs (usually unreliable informations). It's getting harder and harder to know when and which character/couple will be featured next or how the actors feel about the storylines.

5) Reliable spoilers sites are closing out one after the other. Highlighthollywood, the Arkansas Gazette, Tuesday recaps, Pressreader, SOD, SID,... all gone. Sites like Soaphub, SoapoperaSpy, CelebDirtyLaundry, Soapsspoilers, Fame10 and Soapdirt are only posting rumors, I never trust them. Let alone Youtube videos labelled as "spoilers". Message boards and sites like DaytimeConfidential or Watercooler are only reformulating spoilers but they never give anything new. I guess the last reliable source standing is the good old TVguide.

6) No more weekly promo on Sunday. At least I haven't seen any, lately.

7) No more "sneak peek" pics for the following episodes. The official X/Facebook/Instagram page used to post plenty of pictures for the following week and some interesting polls. Now except photoshoots and some random clips, they hardly ever post anything interesting.

8) No more Bold Lives with actors on Youtube on Fridays.

9) Incomplete ratings reports. We used to get all kind of graphics and statistics with detailled numbers and key demos from Soapoperanetwork. No more interesting informations since the covid.

10) No more informations about the casting. We used to have specific dates when a new actor was coming or when a character was leaving. And a clear list with "series regular", "recurring" and "guests" characters. Departures and newcomers aren't addressed anymore in the episodes. The only reliable source now is the opening/closing credits.

And so on and on and on. All we have is the weekly spoilers from the TVguide and random messages/backstage pics from actors. I have no idea why it's happening but none of this is beneficial for the durability of the soap. It's not helping the TV ratings, the actors and of course the viewers. I know B&B (and Y&R) were renewed until September 2024. I doubt it'll be cancelled this year, but I fear its days are numbered. :cry
