Will Sinn stay together in 2024 ?

I think 2023 has taught 1 thing : no couple is safe except Bridge. In 2021 Batie imploded for the last time. 2022 was the end of Queric after 6 long years together. Who would've thought 1 year ago that Lope would crash, implode, burn and be decimated in such large proportions this year? This Lope breakup is different from the previous ones because for the first time ever, no one manipulated or kept secrets from them. Hope fell for Thomas organically, slept with him and then left Liam in the dust. And Liam proved once again that his love for Hope (and Steffy) wasn't that strong. So, 3 iconic couples bit the dust in the last 3 years. I don't think Sinn is exempt from a similar implosion after what happened to Lope this year. I think Bridge will always be endgame but I'm not ready to predict this for anyone else. I predicted Sinn wouldn't make it in 2023, I was wrong. Steffy dumped him twice, but she came back, they didn't divorce. What about next year? Even if they're still together, I think this year brought out a lot of worrying issues.

1) Steffy still has a divided heart and she is still disloyal and dishonest to Finn. Back in 2020, she slept with Liam, called it amazing and said she didn't regret it. Said Liam will always be her greatest gift no matter what. And then professed her undying love. If not for Liam's ultimatum she would have never told Finn about the ONS but he still never found out about Steffy's love declarations. Nor about who she thought she was married to when she woke up from her coma. Has it really changed 3 years later?
- Still hasn't told Finn the truth about the 2 kisses.
- Hasn't told Finn about Liam's voicemails while she was in Europe.
- Had inappropriate flashbacks in the 9000th episode. More inappropriate Liam flashbacks when she was living at Eric's. Including multiple flashbacks of the 2 kisses.
- Still hasn't informed Finn that Liam declared his undying love for her and said he'd love to have another chance with her. When Finn warned her that Liam is trying to come between them, she denied it.
- Has repeatedly sided with Liam against Finn during the whole Sheila/Kelly beach drama. She let Liam bad-mouth her husband over and over. There was even a scene with both Leffy bad-mouthing Finn in unison.
Only her opinion, but JMW also released an interview in June, and stated Steffy has a divided heart. I always value what actors think about the character they play, so I believe her. How long will Finn settle for this divided heart? And how will he react if someone finds out about the kisses and blabs it to him? This is always going to be an issue. Finn gives Steffy his whole heart but he can't receive the same commitment/love in return. Maybe one day he'll have the same epiphany as Hope ; he'll want a loyal woman who loves him completely.

2) Finn's connection with Sheila hasn't been dealt with at all. Steffy and Finn chose to sweep it under the rug and forget about it for now, but the issue will be brought back sooner or later. Sheila isn't on screen at the moment but she and Deacon will return at some point. The list of inappropriate behavior from Finn about Sheila keeps getting longer.
- 2021, inappropriate and secret text messages exchanges with Sheila. Asked Paris to keep the secret.
- 2021, put his own baby in Sheila's arms when he thought Steffy was in a business trip
- 2022, told Hope deep down he'd love to build a relationship with his mom, then told Steffy the opposite
- 2022, visited Sheila at her hotel and told her he's willing to give her a chance. 1 day later, she shot him.
This year has been even worse. When she was in Europe, all Finn did was whining about Sheila but no action. He said he'd do something to force Sheila to leave town but he didnot. Steffy knows about the 2nd hug (after the trial) and the beach drama. But she still doesn't know he called her "mom", she doesn't know about the 1st hug and what he said. "when you hold me like that, it feels like something I have been missing my whole life.". This little piece of dialog was important, I think it showed what's in his heart and how he truly feels about Sheila. No matter what he tells Steffy now, this confession can't be erased. How long can Steffy tolerate this sick connection? If he ever hugs or defends Sheila again, will it be the last straw?

3) More of a personal opinion/prediction, but I really got weird vibes about the Finn/Hope interactions back in October. I just watched these scenes. Firstly regarding Finn's snarky comments about Thomas. He is Steffy's brother, and Finn has made it very clear he thinks very lowly of him (why I don't know... if it weren't for Thomas, Finn would still think Hayes is Liam's and Steffy would have left him a long time ago, but seems to have forgotten about this). Anyway, Finn doesn't like Thomas and thinks Hope can do better than him... whereas Steffy doesn't like Hope and thinks Thomas can do better than her. They aren't gonna agree about this.
More concerning was how he behaved with Hope. I am not suggesting that there were romantic vibes in those scenes, it was platonic. But still, I found it inappropriate. He hugged her, then told her how highly he thinks of her. Told her how strong, compassionate, incredible and beautiful she is. Told Li he was looking out for Hope and worried about her well-being. I thought Li's comment about Hope was very interesting. "You know the history between steffy and hope, right? Do you want to risk doing something else to push your wife away?" This piece of dialog could be a hint of what could happen if Finn ever developped romantic feelings for Hope. Maybe it'll never happen, but this Li/Finn scene teased it as a possibility. I can't see Hope/Finn becoming a couple but an emotional affair or a kiss down the road is not something I'd rule out. Something (in my opinion) Thomas would easily forgive Hope, but Steffy wouldn't forgive Finn if any line was crossed. This would be Steffy's worst nightmare because of her traumatizing history with Hope, I think that's what Li was implying. I could be completely off about this, all I'm saying is I think the writers teased it.

The first 2 points for me are very problematic. Finn should want better than a cheater with a divided heart. And Steffy should want better than a man who can't cut ties and still harbors inappropriate feelings for a woman who shot them and left them bleeding to death on a pile of garbage. The 3rd point is rather a premonition (I won't judge Finn or Hope for something they haven't done) but it'd be devastating if it happens.
After Batie, Queric and Lope, will the writers pull the plug on Sinn in 2024? (I'm very torn about it right now, it's 50-50). What do you think? (question for Sinn fans mainly, but everyone can reply)

If I have to be honest, many points/assessments you have made about the pairing are very, very wrong and inaccurate. But I will just highlight a couple points mostly on the Finn side:

  • Steffy is aware of Finn calling Sheila "mom," and Finn has repeatedly apologized for doing so. Steffy also knows about more than one hug between Finn and Sheila, as Sheila threw Finn under the bus during the confrontation. Steffy knows everything. Finn is the one who isn't clued on everything.
  • Finn took proactive steps in dealing with Sheila, telling her to leave town upon learning about the engagement. He also independently summoned Deacon to his office after Steffy returned to ensure Deacon understood he should stay away. This illustrates Finn's determination to keep his family safe from Sheila, independently of Steffy's presence or request.
  • In an additional scene, Finn expressed awareness that Sheila believes, without Steffy, they could have a relationship. He emphasized Sheila's dangerous thinking, stating that it put Steffy in harm's way, and he would not tolerate it.
  • Both Finn and Steffy consider the Sheila situation dealt with. Despite a vulnerable moment, Finn is back on the same page with Steffy, and he strongly dislikes Sheila. Finn has cut all ties with Sheila.

Steffy has told Finn that she has never been happier than with him, calling all her previous relationships "false starts" and stating that she only found true love with him. She also told Ridge that Finn is her person. If we stick to the dialogue, it depends on whether we view the soap through the Steam or Sinn shipper lens. Bold and the Beautiful will give both fanbases something to chew on, just as Steam and Lope fans always got something from the writing, and Thope and Lope fans got something as well.

Additionally, JMW never said Steffy has a divided heart. In soaps, characters may love more than one person, and that's normal. However, if we go by what JMW said, she has mentioned on repeated occasions that Finn is Steffy's true love and soulmate.

Regarding Finn's actions with Hope, if they were inappropriate, can we say Hope was being inappropriate just as much? She praised him endlessly and seemed enamored when speaking to Brooke about him. Finn hugged her only because she was in tears, with zero romantic feelings and no romantic tones in the scenes.

As for Li, it is made clear that she projects her own marital issues/failures onto Finn. Finn called her out when she told him to get to the gala and not upset Steffy, pointing out that her marriage issues are why she tends to overreact when it comes to his, and she did not deny it.

Regarding the Thomas/Hayes paternity situation, I won't praise a fish for swimming. Telling the truth was the absolute bare minimum, especially considering the Beth saga. This is the least Thomas could do. Finn overheard the conversation; Thomas didn't go out of his way to reveal the truth. Regardless, is Finn meant to be forever indebted? Finn saved Thomas' life when he had the brain injury, so perhaps they are even.

With that being said, I believe Steffy is the issue in Sinn's marriage problem. Finn has taken steps to make amends, changed his behavior, put in the work, and set boundaries with Sheila. Additionally, Finn has been transparent throughout this process last year. Unfortunately, Steffy has not done the same, particularly in regard to her interactions with Liam, and Finn remains unaware of many details such as the kisses. Hopefully, in 2024, Finn can find out about the lies, assert himself, prompting Steffy to reflect on their relationship. A temporary separation initiated by Finn this time, may give her the space to realize the importance of Finn and motivate her to fight for their marriage.

No couple lasts on a soap opera. They may break up or they may not. It is unpredictable and will depend on whether they have a love interest lined up for Finn (e.g., if they keep Bridget around for him).

This is why I can't take Sinn seriously..they're a one-sided marriage with a domineering Steffy who cheats on a loyal Finn and ain't honest with him by keeping secrets from him, but expects total loyalty and honesty from him. I see Finn loving this bully unconditionally, but her love for him is certainly conditional imo as she got mad at him enough to ditch him, took the kids to Europe just to punish him while she's allowed herself to make plenty of mistakes, but he isn't allowed to make any in her eyes.

I will admit, as a Sinn fan, there is an imbalance at play. I don't particularly view it the exact same way, but I am hoping, in 2024, we will get Finn holding Steffy's feet to the fire. She has earned to be told off by Finn and him initiated a seperation in order for Steffy to revaluate her priorities.

I'll believe it when I actually see Finn standing up to cheater Steffy on my screen. Because so far, I've yet to see him do so with HER. And I don't count him running around confronting Liam as standing up for himself either. I WANT to see Finn let Steffy have it for her cheating kisses and for not being honest with him like she expected from him. I have my doubts though given that so far Finn did the opposite..he rewarded her cheating last time with flowers and a proposal lol.

I don't think it is particularly fair to say he rewarded her. Do I think he should have taken more time before he forgave her and should have had a bigger reaction? Absolutely. But to say, he rewarded her isn't quite accurate.

He stood by her, and he had an intuition that the baby she was carrying was his child and wanted to raise his child in a non broken home. I understood that point of view. I also remembered Finn telling Hope, it was easier for him to forgive Steffy as it was a one-time thing; therefore; it could be very likely that the kisses will push him over the edge, especially since Steffy dismissed all his concerns in regards to Liam being after her. Finn has had disagreements with Steffy before, including the Douglas custody situation.

I want Finn to let her have it, but we have different reasons to want it. I want balance and growth for my couple and I need Finn to know that he was not the only one who messed up last summer.

It IS accurate to me as that's what played out on MY screen..he rewarded her instead of holding her accountable and put all the blame on Liam. Takes TWO to tango..as Liam didn't force himself on her..she WILLINGLY cheated on a loyal Finn.
Thing is it isn't a one-time thing for cheater Steffy as she indeed had 2 paternity tests in her life. And she already cheated on Finn again with her 2 Leffy kisses (she may not have initiated, but her married lips touched Liam's)..clueless Finn just doesn't know it yet.
That whole Douglas thing he quickly gave into Steffy's demands and Douglas moved in just like domineering Steffy wanted..so it wasn't really much of a disagreement.

I will stand by my opinion that I will believe Finn has a spine and standing up to bully Steffy when it actually plays out on my screen.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
