hollis calls deacon as the situation between li and shelia continues to escalate

ridge tells finn that he feels steffy will come home but stresses he must tell steffy what's going on with deacon and shelia

liam accuses finn of putting steffy and the children in even more danger by supporting deacon and shelia

liam realizes he hasn’t told steffy what's been going on.

What is Liam talking about? When did Finn support them? Did I miss that episode?

i don't know if i would use the word support, but today finn was saying things like sheila just wants to be loved and that maybe deacon's love will be enough, and when li asked him if he was buying into it he said he didn't know

"Sheila just wants to be loved" isn't out of the ordinary comment. Every character says that about her. It is the basis of who Sheila is, and inherently the "cause" of all her actions; Sheila yearning for love.

Finn is just over the Sheila mess, in my opinion. As he said today, he's just desperate for Sheila to stay out of his life. I can see why Sheila being preoccupied with Deacon could give Finn hope that she'll leave him alone (it won't cause Sheila will remain obsessed with Finn regardless), but I understand Finn's perspective in just wanting to be left alone.
