I am going to give Hope a break. It's not just that he is engaged to Sheila but also Deacon has been actively lying to her for a very long time. She deserves a freak out but then I need her to gain some self awareness. … I know that won’t happen but they could surpise us.

It's not her business though. It's not her business if he's in a relationship or not and he never lied to her. What was the lie? I think the only reason he knows about her and Thomas is because Brooke found out. I don't know that she would have just told him she was screwing thomas. I think Deacon's business ought to be his business until he's ready to tell people.

I remember when they were discussing his role in Sheila going to prison and also a few times when she asked him about Sheila.i don’t think it's her business either but I can understand that part of processing this is that all this time he has been misleading her.
