But Thomas himself told her he wants a future with her. It's not the first time she is hearing it.

I don't remember that since he supposedly "changed," but if so, then yeah, all I said applies all the more. They can't be on the same page if they do not want the same things.

It'd be better if neither were in love with each other because Hope should know that you can't have a casual thing with someone who is devoted to only her. She should know feelings like that carry strings whether Thomas admits them or not.
