Stephanie’s Douglas family had major issues with violence. Stephanie could be violent as could Pam. Thorne had a couple of violent episodes, Aly had violent episodes that led to her death. Steffy could react violently. Thomas has a history of violence. I’m not saying the Logans and Spencers and others don’t have issues. I don’t understand why the writers operate as if Thomas is alone in his issues given the family history.

Didn't Rick shoot at ridge and Caroline? Didn't rick shoot someone else too?

Nope Rick did NOT shoot AT Ridge and his cheating wife Caroline who were making out at work. He did shoot at a wall AWAY from them. And he shot Grant when he was a child because Ridge told Eric that Grant was killing Eric, and the child Rick took that to mean Grant was really killing his father.
