seriously brooke sounded so ridiculous telling her adult child to stay from thomas unless brooke plans to lock hope away in tower there is nothing she can do to stop hope from seeing thomas

If Brooke's treating her like a child, it's probably because Hope acts like one and has the mentality of one. This is apparently the case since hope is so susceptible to brainwashing. She apparently has no mind of her own and soaks in everything, even bad things, like a sponge. So she had to be taught right from wrong all over again, I guess.

Makes me wonder who that woman was in Thomas’ bed who firmly told her mother she wasn’t going to fight for her marriage??? That young woman sure had a mind of her own and wasn’t afraid to speak up and say exactly what was on her on mind. But now all of a sudden, according to some viewers, her mother and Liam have browbeaten and brainwashed her into submission. She’s mindless. When her mother says something to her, she’s just a pod who obeys blindly. Go figure.

I can't figure because for years, no one has been able to tell her about Thomas even to the very breaking point of her marriage. But now? Maybe sex with Thomas burned all her brain cells out.
