Thomas's did some bad things but comparing him to a woman who's attempted to or successfully murdered, intentionally or otherwise, 13 people (some more than once) over the course of 30 years is a stretch.

He is a child abuser, his own, and someone else's....that makes him a monster. I cannot imagine too many women viewers really want to see a child abuser end up with the abused child's mother as his prize. They can pair him with someone else, and he can be redeemed, but his past is not in the past, when it comes to abusing children and thinking we will accept him being with the mother of the children he abused.
