When did B&B become The Hope & Liam Show?!

I’ve been watching this show since 1990, and I have never once had the urge to fast forward until this week. A few days ago, I actually caught myself hitting the fast-forward button without even thinking of it in advance! Enough already with this boring Hope and Liam saga! I do think the actors who play the parts are quite good; however, the storyline just runs on and on and on and on. Brooke, Ridge, Wyatt, and now even poor newbie RJ (who must be bored witless), have all been reduced to ho-hum bystanders who sit around gossiping about Hope’s and Liam‘s marriage. Surely the writers can do better than this. The only time this show is fun anymore is when Sheila and Deacon appear! It’s gotten so bad I am now watching the early days of the show on YouTube. I’m now on season two from 1988, which blows the recent stuff out of the water! Does anyone else feel the same way?

I agree 1000%. The show is horrendous now and has been since around 2018. I’ve watched maybe 5 episodes total since 2020. I’ve been watching since 1996 and back then, the show was absolutely incredible. I started watching the older episodes on youtube as well, I started at season 1 episode 1 and now I’m up to season 8. Incredible show in the 80s-90s-up until 2012. When Ronn and Susan left the show, it wasn’t the same but still watchable until like I said, around 2018, it started getting bad. In 2020 however, the show has become completely Un-watchable. I can’t believe anyone here even watches it still. Makes no sense to me. I just come here to find out whats happening and to see (pray) that the show is getting better, but its not.
