Not watching next week: don’t recognize show

Even though I’m interested in Eric, and Sinn, I’m not going to watch because based on spoilers and everything going on, seems more of the same.

I’m realizing I don’t recognize half the cast anymore.

I don’t recognize a Hope that would fall for Thomas. I know there’s not many options but…Thomas doesn’t make sense.

I don’t recognize a Liam that just threw away any attempt to reconcile with Hope. Instead he’s basically throwing a woman he says he cares about and by extension their daughter, to the man he says he thinks is a danger, to pursue his married ex that he left because she had slept with his own father; and he says he doesn’t know why he left.

I don’t recognize a Finn who is hugging Sheila and “doesn’t know why” (aka plot point!).

I don’t recognize a Steffy who wouldn’t answer her husband’s texts or let him see their son and would hide the truth from him that Liam is pursuing her just as he fears.

The show focusing on this quad +1 is very overplayed and boring.

Imo the show needs to add more men and women in this age group. Or at least utilize Wyatt if they won’t cast a new man.

Thomas should have another option besides Hope and she should have another option besides him and Liam.

Liam should have another option besides Steffy and Hope.

Finn should have another option besides Steffy.

And maybe Steffy needs another option besides Liam and Finn.

I’m still rooting for Hope and Finn’s happiness and I still want Sinn as endgame but, until I hear better news about this show, I’ll be tuning out again and just keeping up via the internet.

I agree with almost all of this. I am sure I will watch but I am very frustrated with the show.

I will say Liam has been very consistent about it being over if a line was crossed with Thomas. I think it is refreshing he is sticking to it. It's pretty clear Hope never really forgave him for sleeping with Steffy the last time. It's ok to have deal breakers. And down the line he will forgive her but I applaud him for knowing his limitations. The Steffy stuff is another topic entirely.
As for Finn him feeling a connection to his bio mom despite everything she has done is not that crazy. The way it was revealed was weird and clearly a plot point but it being a thing is pretty normal. And what answer do you want him to give? He is trying to win Steffy back even if he knows why it's best he keep it to himself. I think after the drowning it was pretty clear how he felt but that didn’t go over very well. I would stick with I don’t know tool
