If Hope is pregnant

Doesn't that mean she is exactly like her mother and Steffy, people she did not want to be like? And if she dumps Thomas this week because she believes being with him is disrespectful to her child given his cruelty and abuse of Beth, then what would a pregnancy mean for her? If the child were his, does that mean if she ends up with him it would be because she feels trapped into it, because she would be pregnant by him and he would want to marry her? Or would she realize she really wants to be with him? Either choice is not good. If she is stuck with him because of a pregnancy, then I am betting she will be pining for Liam and more depressed than ever that she put herself exactly where she did not want to be...following in her mother's footsteps and married to one man because she is pregnant and in love with another. If it is the second reason, then what does that mean? That she decides what happened to Beth was nothing, and it is OK to force her child to live around the monster than wanted her dead?

But most importantly Hope's whole mantra in life has been, I don't want to be like mom. And if married to Liam and knocked up by Thomas, then she is like mom....and....if she needs a WTD...then she is like mom and Steffy....and she will be in the midst of a scandal in the press, just like mom.

I don't think the writers are going to go there...but you never know.


I don't think that's where they are going either. The main aim of this story in my opinion is to finally bring to light the messy dynamics of Lope and Leffy and consequently to also establish Sinn as a supercouple. I am almost certain Steffy will reject Liam in favour of Finn. If she doesn't then they've regressed her horribly. Once she rejects him Liam will be forced to do a self examination and he will have nowhere else to go but to Hope. And thus will begin a new and improved Lope, with both having to face some hard truths about their relationship. I'm hoping that before that happens they both spend some time by themselves. There is no need to rush into another relationship so soon after coming out of one. As for Thomas, I don't really think he's relevant for Hope any more. I doubt very much that Hope will go back to him. And if the writers destroyed Thope after not even three months and didn't even give them a proper relationship or an I love you, I doubt very much that they will bind them together by a child.


I think what you are saying is already happening. We had Steffy send him away after the cheek kiss on Wednesday, and she shuttered from it. He left looking confused. We saw her yesterday with her quick memory of the Rome kiss, and again, she shuttered. We had Lope together for the first time since porn fest, and Liam took some blame, and then we had that dynamic scene between them, so powerful. I thiink Liam is already doing some self examination. And, I did not get the impression he was immediately wanting to be with Hope again...he was more mature then we have seen him in a long time. So was she...but I did get the sense from her, that she is wanting him to try and work out their marriage.

I just think if this was going to morph into a WTD, we would be getting the signs already...the feeling faint, not feeling well, etc. How long was it after the drunken ONS before Steffy knew she was pregnant? I don't remember.

No idea. I wasn't watching then. But yes I do agree the signs would be there. A WTD would completely deviate from the actual story they're trying to tell. And I'm sorry, but the half hearted rejection from Steffy isn't good enough for me. As you've probably noticed there's quite a bit of speculation about Leffy coming back on the board too, so it seems like it's not enough for others as well. Hopefully there will be something more concrete next week.
