Hope’s Story

As a Brooke fan who naturally became a Hope fan, I am very disappointed in the way that they “freed Hope”.
Hope has always been the one in this triangle who has stepped away and she was blamed for being immature and fickle. The issue for me was not stepping away but coming back to the same.
Anyway, with Hope this time doing the cheating, I can blame and be disgusted with her for the cheat
but now I can also commend her for stepping away from what she sees as the vicious cycle. She is a part of it so she is at fault too, so by getting the divorce she is at least attempting to walk away. Whether she ever admits her infidelity is another story. Whether it will get back to Liam is another story. A lot of Thomas’ bad deeds have not been found out, so why not!
As a fan, I still do not support her decision of sleeping with the enemy. Thomas should always be the enemy to Hope and Liam. Forgive - sure.
But he stole time from this family when he lied and forced others to do the same. When he caused Emma’s accident and did not help her but watched her die and then had an evil smirk on his face. Those 2 facts are enough to say Thomas should never be a part of Hope’s equation for this fan!
And if they could bring Caroline back for Douglas - that would be THE BEST because Hope should never have been in that equation!


But to what end? The cast is not expanding. Hope may have freed herself from Liam, but she ran straight to Tom, a monster to her child. Hope has 4 dating options on this show...that is it. Many viewers do not want her with Liam, many of us will never watch Thope, so that leaves Finn or Wyatt. Neither of them would really be "Hope breaking a cycle". Finn is madly in love with Steffy and the way he is acting the last few days, if he ended up with Hope, she would just be with another man with a divided heart that involves Steffy, and he also has a psycho for a mother. Then there is Wyatt, who I like a lot, but he is Liam's brother, so again, she would have a divided heart between 2 brothers....just like her mother did when she was with Thorne and Nick. IMO, Hope should be left with the devil she knows, and now that she too is a cheater, maybe she and Liam would have a better understanding of each other.

Assuming eventually - whether it’s a year or two from now - Lope will reunite. For now they could start with Thope with Hope taking a step back, realizing it wasn’t really about Tom but more about Steam. Then she could date the waiter guy, some small time player. Maybe not have a romance story for a few months!
If I take Thomas out of the equation I can root for Hope again. If no Thope - I can watch again.
I just think out of all the characters, Hope and Finn were the most true people. And if Hope had been giving us this side of her thoughts before, I could have at least supported her dumping Liam.
She did it before.
Steffy is the one who accepted whatever from Liam until she saw him jumping on Hope at the fashion show.

Well I am with you there. I liked Hope....I like AN. I think she is amazing looking and now that they gave her some real drama, she is great to watch as an actress. But, if Thope is on I will not be watching them. I would absolutely be all in on what Hope does next if in 2 weeks we hear her tell Tom, they are one and done, because she really has no interest in exploring a future with him. I would LMAO and be cheering for her.
