Maybe Brooke becomes temporary co-CEO

I've never believed much of what Stephanie said while she was terminally ill and potentially not in her right mind. She spent 25.5 years hating Brooke. I just didn't buy that sudden friendship. I also think Steffy would appoint Thomas over Brooke because she trusts Thomas and she wouldn't have to be concerned with him trying to stay in the job.

IDA at all. I think Stephanie was written to have a realization that Brooke was the ONLY person that loved her completely and unconditionally, because Brooke always posted if Stephanie needed her, no matter what Stephanie ever did to her. Stephanie did horrible things to Brooke, had her raped, brought a gun and told her to shoot herself, etc. Brooke always forgave her, and never turned her back on her. Even after Stephanie had Brooke raped, and then fled like the coward she was, and when she came back, she was shunned by everyone. Brooke forgave her for it. Stephanie learned at the end, Brooke was dependable, strong and would always have her back no matter what. That is the reason Taylor was so angry that Stephanie did not want her around when she was dying. Taylor was really beside herself about it. Stephanie knew Taylor was weak and she used Stephanie, as much as Stephanie used Taylor, to keep Ridge in line. All of Stephanie's family were baffled by her only wanting Brooke, and of course Eric with her at the end, but he did not make it in time. Stephanie knew her family was not strong, but that Brooke was, which is why Stephanie gave Brooke her ring. She wanted Brooke to look out for them. Another thing that Stephanie always knew about Brooke, she was brilliant about business, and made FC a fortune. Even when Stephanie hated Brooke's guts, she admitted that no one had done a better job with FC as CEO, then Brooke. The very best relationship on this show was Stephanie and Brooke. They had the best chemistry and scenes together of any other 2 people on this show. IMO
