Again I think it was just an assumption on Steffy’s part and Kelly just responded accordingly when Steffy made the comment about what daddy says. If it wasn’t for that scene where Steffy talks to Finn about how devastating it was when he was “dead” I would agree with you. That scene was there for a reason. I so hope that you are right! I will be very upset if they kill off the one man who is not a waffler and has integrity.

But again, Kelly doesn't call Finn, daddy. She never has. Why would Steffy need to assume that Kelly was talking about Liam, and not Finn. Kelly would have led with "I had a bad dream about daddy FINN". But she didn't, because she was referring to Liam.
If that scene when Steffy and Finn were talking about the period when they thought he was dead was foreboding Finn dying again; why they didn't just continue by having Kelly explicitly say she's scared Finn is going to leave? They didn't as it was about Liam, no doubt about it and today's episode pretty much confirmed it, imo.
