Not out of lust or love. In the past Steffy made herself easily available. Steffy accepted Hopes engagement ring. That’s sounds like a woman who is willing to be the fallback girl. As Steffy has matured she’s done the appropriate thing and said no. Liam doesn’t want Steffy. He doesn’t know what to do when Hope treats him dismissively. He won’t fight for her although he fought hard during Beth situation. Liam is just as insecure as Hope. We just don’t t know why.

Did you watch yesterday and today? Liam is being called out by everyone for his pattern and he won't admit it. And now he's lying that he hasn't turned to Steffy when we know he has. He may not want Steffy, in that, he doesn't want to go after her. But, that's not what Hope is accusing him of. It's the feelings that he has for her. That hangs over their marriage. Kinda hard to deny it. Everyone sees it but him.
