Liam is the most uninteresting character on the show

Agree...I like Liam and hate that they deverted the story from hope cheating with a lying psycho that less than six months ago hurt her mom to liam who were very supportive of her and her career and was not lying or cheating....here's hoping that liam is really through with her and once this fantasy of her blows up he tells her to kick rocks...

I'm a big Liam fan but, I think what's going on is pretty consistent with the history of his and Hope's relationship. Liam HAS had a divided heart. He's had feelings for Steffy almost the entire time he and Hope have been together. He's even acted on them, more than once. Hope harboring resentment from that didn't come out of nowhere.

I don't think the story was diverted from Hope to Liam. It's just that we've come to the part of the story now where we learn why Hope became attracted to Thomas. It shows that both Hope and Liam have a responsibility for why their marriage failed. And that makes perfect sense to me. This was never going to be a story about Hope suddenly becoming someone who would cheat on Liam for no reason. It's a complex story with lots of components. Finding out now that Hope held onto the pain from Liam's betrayals and that made Thomas look attractive to her is quite realistic, if you ask me.
