Why should Tom have sent Hope away? She is not a child, and she told him she knew what she was doing and that she wanted it. Being changed doesn´t mean you have to be a saint, just not obsessing or manipulating anymore. His longtime dream was about to come true, he probably was just happy.
And if Hope is "soiled", all Forresters, Logans and Spencers are soiled too, and most are more soiled than Hope is, aside from the children of course.

You mean his long time creepy obsession and plotting has finally been realized. Tom hasn't changed. He is still the wacky mental case he always was. He just has learned to hide it better.

Maybe, maybe not...I would like him to have really changed but we will have to wait and see.
