Finn and Steffy and Liam

I don't know if this has been talked about but is it possible that if Sheila is released from prison, Finn decides to push Steffy and Liam together to protect his family from Sheila. With the upcoming scenes with Kelly, might Kelly say something to Finn that gets him thinking about the future. I could definitely see Finn falling on the sword to keep Sheila away.


Am I missing something? What exactly would Finn be protecting them from?


Sheila was free from Sept 2022 until March of this year and never went near Steffy or her children. She didn't even go near Finn. Their only interaction was Bill blackmailing them and Finn showing up at the restaurant to yell at her. Even prior to the shooting, Sheila never went after Steffy. Everyone thought she was dead, and she could have done anything she wanted undetected, but nothing. When she was free and out and about, all she did was visit Deacon. So what is this threat exactly? Every single incident, including the visits in prison, has been them going to her. Just stay away from her.


Unless it was my imagination, Sheila constantly talked to Bill about wanting Finn and Hayes in her life. As well, I'm not talking about her "going after" Steffy. I'm thinking more about Sheila being a constant in their lives with the potential for danger just around the corner. If Kelly talks about feeling unsafe and Finn feels that Sheila is the reason, is it possible he would act with their best interests in his mind? No different from Hope wanting Liam and Kelly together after Beth died.

No, she used Finn and Hayes to deflect from her affair with Deacon. She used him every time Bill asked what was bothering her, but we saw what was actually in her head, and it was Deacon.

But I get what you are saying. It doesn't matter if there is really a threat or not. If Finn has decides there is, he could decide to leave Steffy for her safety.

The only issue is Hayes would still be Sheila's grandson. Finn splitting up with Steffy wouldn't actually fix anything. He just wouldn't be around to protect them, which seems counterintuitive. Finn is going to be pissed that Liam kissed Steffy. He doesn't seem like he would be his first choice.

I think Kelly's premonition of danger may be her having an accident, and Finn saves her. But he may think that it is about Sheila since it seems she will be released a few days later.
