The other problem for me is that people keep saying Thomas hasn’t hurt Hope in years. Liam already forgave him. How about 6 months ago? Hope told Liam and everyone how hurt she was by the way Thomas handled the CPS situation and Douglas.

Correct. Six months ago, Hope was saying Brooke and Liam were right. 6 months from now, she might be saying it again.

I agree with you. Liam did come around to Thomas some during the H&R storyline but that was because it was supposedly Thomas' redemption story. Was he changed or would he use Vinny's plot to get Hope. Leave Liam in jail and take the girl.

After that, the characters did think Thomas had changed, but then he started back up with the CPS call, the not returning Douglas thing, the preview kiss, and the "let douglas pick the parent" mess.

So it's no wonder if Brooke and Liam reverted to not trusting Thomas again as your transcript from 6 months ago points out.
