Hope needs to someone to look her in the eye and tell her "to hell with what anyone thinks. Stop worrying about what other people think. You cannot live your life based on what other people think is right or wrong".

Except that it isn't about what others think. It's about what SHE thinks. She is the one who came up with all this moral mumbo jumbo for herself. She is the one who has despised Thomas for years. So it's not on anyone but HOPE. Hope has never given a damn what any other people think except when her fans jumped her for being with Liam while he was married.
