That Photo In Rome

On the flight home, Carter made reference to how the trip was so successful and how nice it was that there were no issues to clean up on their return to LA. There was also that restaurant scene with the fans of HFTF and how Hope was so easily recognizable. Was that scene significant? After her speech with her emphasis on her message, is it possible that bad press is about to explode with news of a possible divorce and a picture of Hope and Thomas kissing and Hope will once again be attacked for not holding true to what she and her line stands for. That would be enough reason to remove her presence from the line and for Hope to finally get herself some help. I just don't know where this story is going. Things are so murky and disjointed and have been for quite some time.


If any picture came out, I'm thinking it would be Liam and Steffy but the longer it takes to happen, the less likely I think it could be. It's just not realistic for anyone to sit on photos like this or for Bill not to get ahold of it since that's his business.


I know and I agree. The more time that passes, the less likely. However, aren't we only day 2 since the return from Rome?


Yes, but news, in real life is instant. You want to put it out instantly -- as in all kinds of paparazzi should have been on the tarmac and the plane couldn't have taken off if they wanted to. That might have been a better story than how it's coming out now. While waiting for Bridge, the jet was overrun with reporters.

Certainly, the soap doesn't have to follow real-life news patterns. And it could be that Bill is paying to keep it secret, but it gets out later. That would also be a better story. Maybe they are discovered kissing in the background of someone else's photo? That would also be interesting. But I think it would be Liam and Steffy's kiss because Thomas and Hope's is already getting it's response from Liam.

But I don't think BB writers think like that anymore. They miss so many opportunities.

Yes, they do miss opportunities and instead throw us into messes that often make no sense. Not to mention history being ignored or reinvented.
