Liam and Hope Were a Happy Couple

Of course there were happy moments, the weddings, getting Beth back...but these were only isolated and in between there were the divided heart problems again and again...I think this is the reason why Hope fell for 1-woman-man Tom. It probably was an enticing thought that there is a man who really wants her only.
And Liam, even if he did not cheat the last two years (like I said, give him a medal ) still was always over at Steffy´s, not only because of Kelly but visiting Steffy. I remember that Hope even told him it was not appropriate to stay there when he wanted to see Kelly, bring flowers, have dinner, multiple times per week.
Even Finn told him. But Liam is "boundless", he thinks he can have it all. I think he made Hope insecure were

Tom gave her the feeling he was consistent with his love for her.[/b]

But the flowers and dinner dates happened in 2020.
After the tequila night and the pregnancy scare we had Liam stopping that behavior, when he had to fight again for his marriage.

Since 2021 Liam's has been committed to his marriage and only relapsed once, when in 2022 he temporarily allowed an injured Steffy to think they were still married and when he was there for a grieving Steffy when she spent her first night alone at the cliff house - and Liam fell asleep without telling his wife that he was staying there. But then Liam didn't hit on Steffy, didn't make out with her.

During the last two years Liam has not shown any waffling and did not disrespect the SINN marriage until the THOPE kiss.

That Hope could develop feelings for another man is also Liam´s fault, to a great part at least.
But instead of thinking about his own part in this what does he do? Run to Steffy and try to get in her pants to get back at Hope. Childish.

Liam's reaction now is so childish/selfish.

But I can't see his fault during the last two years.
Before 2021 Hope had many reasons to leave Liam but she chose Liam and their marriage. Why is she now throwing it away, when Liam during the last 2 years really has earned that medal and has never strayed (and for a waffler like Liam the has been a major achievement) ?

AA celebrates every day people succeed in staying sober and not falling back into their bad habits.
Liam did very good for 2 years. (no running to the ex and hitting on her, even when he had been frustrated at times)

If Liam could turn to Steffy that fast it means that during those two years his feelings for Steffy were always there.
