The only thing this show suffered for years with was Liam dominating the show to the point there were no other leading young men.

When one outshined him, Wyatt, he was quickly written as a manipulator and second choice and eventually backburnered.

Bill was written as a crazy stalker so Liam would look better.

Steffy was denied another man for years. They put on a cute man liking her, Leo, but she wasn’t allowed to go out with him.

They finally allowed a new, handsome, decent man to fall for Steffy and immediately Liam was inserted and continues to be but Steffy finally had enough and allowed herself to love this man and the show FINALLY has another male lead besides Liam.

That is what was sorely missing.
