I have no problem with Hope saying or believing that she’s no longer happy with Liam. I’m stunned she would be so frivolous about a marriage she claims she really wants. She keeps telling Liam no matter what anyone says she loves him deeply. So I’m totally confused by this story. Hope is not acting like someone who adores her husband.

Yes, gracie. That's exactly right and that's exactly the confusion. But I think they're going to make it Liam's fall. Hope is going to be sitting around crying, mourning her marriage. Thomas is going to be the galant friend eventually they will fall into a relationship.
