What I hate about it all

Steffy was the truth teller. She warned everyone including Hope. No one wanted to believe. I guess that’s the new rep the show is promoting for Steffy - Finn last week said Steffy tells the truth no matter what :whistle. Let’s see where the writers go with it.

OMG :drunk Steffy tells the truth no matter what... As long it's someone else's business and nothing about her own nasty secrets.

IKR? When it comes to her own cheating scandals, she kept her mouth shut. But she sure is quick to tell the truth on someone else..this 2 faced snake sure is quick to expose others who's done less than her. Too funny!

Actually she tried to prevent this. Hope should have listened to Steffy and her mother.

No, she didn't prevent anything. Steffy's the one that blindsided Hope with an "unreasonable" ultimatum then told Taylor "Hope has to say yes" to rehiring Thomas.

But she really didn’t have to. She could have prioritized Liam’s wishes and called Steffy’s bluff, or she could have worked with Thomas and kept it only professional, avoiding putting herself into situations where she was risking not being able to control herself. No reason to go sightseeing with Thomas if she couldn’t control herself…unless she decided she didn’t want to control herself. It’s okay with me if Thomas is who she really wants, but she shouldn’t be carelessly playing with Liam and Thomas’s feelings if she doesn’t know what she wants. She’s risking derailing Thomas and breaking Liam’s heart at the same time.

If Steffy is so concerned about her brother's well being, she wouldn't have welcome him back to work so soon. Does she seriously believe that he would just get over his MANY YEARS of obsession overnight? And Thomas "derail" himself plenty by initiating several physical contacts with a married Hope when he claimed he's all changed and no longer obsessed with Hope..he lied too, NOT just Hope. NONE of these people are innocent in this story to me.

I don’t see that Thomas derailed himself or lied in this storyline at all, but I respect your opinion. We all see things differently.

He told his family that even if Hope throws herself at him that he won't do anything..well, he did do something by kissing her back! So IMO, he most definitely lied. That's fine..you have your opinion and I have mine.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
