the kiss is bad, sure, hope is married, they have kids, etc etc but i think what will disturb/hurt liam more is that hope actually wanted it and has for a while, the discovery that she is emotionally invested and has real feelings is the hurtful part, way more than the actual kiss

I think this is all about WHO she is having feelings for, not that her eyes are wandering. I still believe that Thope is just the opening act for the main event, which is Liam/Lope. I think this SL is very very little about Tom, other than her disturbing feelings about him, and all about what happens to Lope and a change in Liam. After it shakes out, we may come to find out, that Tom planned the whole thing by instigating the bad reviews for HFTF. If that were to happen I would be giving credit to Tom for being much more clever than I have thought him to be. I don't mind soapy stuff....but if they are going to do that, then do it right. If they want a Tom SL then make it a good one. If this was a soap from 20 years ago, Tom would have been plotting how to get even with Liam for "stealing" his bride back in 2018, and plotting how to take over FC from Steffy. When Steffy got all of Taylor's shares, he was furious and there was an intense episode where he told her, his mother and everyone else how he felt about it.
