How will Liam find out?

The writing is practically on the wall. Liam will learn Hope's big secret in Italy. But how?
1) He catches them in bed or making out after the fashion show
2) He overhears Hope professing her love to Thomas
3) Steffy catches 1) or 2) and tells Liam the truth
4) Hope-Liam have a sex scene in Italy and she calls out Thomas' name
5) Hope finally owns her feelings and decides to come clean when Liam finds her
Other?

6. Liam and/or Steffy think they see something that’s actually innocent and Liam beats the crap out of Thomas. Hope either defends Thomas (like Brooke did with Deacon) and Liam walks out on her for it (like Ridge did), or she’s so horrified that it’s a wake-up call and that’s the end of her thirsty for Thomas phase. Lope becomes the second “eternal love” couple in Rome. Personally I just want it resolved one way or the other. The repetition has become unbearable.
