Hey lots of people divorce..in fact I think every character except finn has been divorced at least once ….she fits right in if she dumps Liam it’s not her first divorce I think it would be her third? Wyatt, Tom and Liam would be three

It's not that she would be dumping Liam. It is for what she would be dumping in for, a psycho, stalker piece of scum low life that kept her baby from her.

I am in the minority I guess, I totally believe if there is a young child involved, and no one is abusing the other mentally or physically, and the 2 people do have love for each other, they should honor their marriage and stay together. I am old fashioned enough to think a person's happiness does not outweigh the stability and happiness of their young child. And, that if you make a commitment, you stick to it. Hope herself was the one that said those very words to Liam when he had left Steffy when she was pregnant. Hope told him to go back to Steffy and make it work for their child, because they owed that to their child. Then she found out about Steffy cheating with Liam's dad, and she even told Steffy that was mental abuse and explains why Liam was so emotionally down and not right in the head. Hope also left Liam when she believed Beth was dead, and she told Liam to go be a family with Steffy because a child needs both their parents together, if that is possible. Then she married Tom to be a parent to Douglas. I personally think divorce is wrong when young children are involved, and if the marriage is not one that is hate filled and abusive. IMHO you do not divorce over indifference or because you have an itch in your pants for someone else. You go to therapy or you just buck up and do the right thing. The time to leave Liam was when he cheated with Steffy, Beth was young enough to adapt easier, but now she is 5-6 years old, and this will be much harder.

I am older, so maybe I do not really understand this disposable marriage culture of today. I have heard young people say things about their "starter marriage" and friends whose children get divorced when their jobs become bigger and they feel the spouse is not catching up quick enough.....I just shake my head.

Anyway, that is why I feel strongly about this SL....the way it is happening makes no sense to me from the stance of right and wrong. Hope has never had feelings of lust for Tom. Hope has a young child at home, and I would think that child would be her #1 priority all the time, same for Liam. Hope and Liam have always adored each other, even when with others. Hope was married to Wyatt and saw Liam moving on with Ivy and it tore her to pieces. There has been zero buildup to a Thope relationship since his last dirty deal he pulled on Brooke. I could go on and on....but at this point I am starting to wonder if Beth was suddenly taken ill and hospitalized, if Hope would even cancel her trip to Rome. That is how whacky this SL feels to me. And, I would say the same for Steffy if she suddenly decided to dump Finn because he got miffed she was hanging out with Liam too much.....I would think..WTH are you doing? You have a young son with this guy and he adores you.

Despite their current issues, the thought of a divorce never crossed Hope or Liam's mind..that's enough proof to this viewer that they still love each other very much..yes, they are struggling, but they have NOT given up or quit their marriage. They are still trying to navigate through this mess..and that IMO is what makes Lope very realistic as ALL marriages have ups and downs.

That whole Leffy cheating mess didn't break up Lope's marriage..despite the heartbreak and adulterous betrayal..they commuincated, separated then reconciled..they did stick to their commitment and for the stability and happiness of their young Beth.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
