I, on the contrary, find it is better written than the instant love and cheating out of nowhere we are used to see on this show. Hope does love and is committed to Liam and I don’t think she lied to him. But, she has feelings for Thomas that she is determined to keep in check, to never act on. That is situation that could happen in real life if you forget the history but it is still a soap. Whatever happens in Rome it could be nothing, Liam overhearing Hope talking to Brooke talking about her feelings, what would be better then hearing her telling it to Thomas. It will cause at least a temporary separation

Great post and so true. I think that is exactly what is going on
