thomas discovers the unexpected source behind the rumors about him and hope

Rumors? Not Hope's feelings for him? Is someone going to accuse them of something that hasn't happened?

My guess is Thomas learns Steffy overheard their conversations and told Liam that Hope is the one he should be worried about. He will confront Steffy and they will debate it.

The emotional affair is happening. It started over 2 months ago now. I am sure Liam wouldn't be too thrilled to know Hope was sitting in the plane next to Thomas, taking some clothes off, enjoying his magical hands all over her. Doubt he would be too thrilled to know they shared a meal together in San Francicsco, and that she was in his arms, gazing into his eyes and leaning towards his lips before her cellphone interrupted her. Nor that she is still modelling dresses for him and getting all emotional and frisky when he makes the adjustements. Nor that she saw Thomas' naked body on top of her while they were hitting the sheets, and that all this passionate sex he is getting from Hope is thanks to Thomas. The first kiss hasn't happened yet (in this marriage at least, because in Hope and Liam's previous marriage, she and Thomas kissed before she annulled her marriage), but it's a technicality at this point. I don't think Liam would care much if he learns Hope and Thomas shared one kiss together, as long as she tells him it was a mistake and she doesn't feel anything for him. Learning about the deepness of her feelings and the fact that she lied for so long is what will look bad for Liam when he finds out. Kiss or no kiss, it will make little difference. He will easily forgive Hope, but acceptance will be a much bigger challenge for Liam. The rumor Steffy told him is that Hope's feelings are the problem more than Thomas'. And this rumor is spot on.

Thought Steffy's right? So why would it be rumor? And the spoiler said "rumors"..in plural.

I guess Thomas could consider it a rumor that Hope has feelings for him because we haven’t seen that he “gets it” so far. He apparently needs a brick to hit him in the head to figure it out.

yes, he's assuming it's a rumor because he doesn't know the truth yet, especially since hope is continuing to lie

Thomas is lying too..he claimed to Taylor and Steffy that he doesn't feel that way about Hope anymore it's just platonic blah blah..yet he's still constantly thinking about Hope and flashback to their hand holding..Hope sure's the heck is NOT the only one having flashbacks. If Hope is suppose to come clean to Liam about her creepy thoughts, then IMO Thomas needs to come clean about his many Thope flashbacks too.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
