Just name the few things Thomas has done:
Kept Beth being Phoebe a secret
Tried to sell his son for sex
Kept Sheila’s secret about Brooke
After practically forcing Douglas on Hope tried to keep him from her
Was messing with Zoey to get Hope
Lied on Brooke to break up her marriage
That doesn’t even count what they don’t know.

Love is blind can’t help those feelings :-)
