Trouble in paradise for Steffy and Finn

I smell trouble in paradise for these 2. Steffy is way too distracted in her (rare) scenes with Finn since Sheila went back to jail. They hardly ever interact and when they do, her mind is elsewhere. Every time Finn kisses her or tries to get romantic, she immediately starts deflecting and obsessing about Thomas Hope and Liam. I know the flashbacks yesterday weren't romantic, but still. Not a good sign. I immediately see red flags when Finn comes home, kisses her and she instantly starts thinking about Liam. Again, I know they weren't romantic flashbacks, but it's never positive when a married character is in the same room as her husband and has flashbacks of a conversation with her ex. Then there was that scene on Wednesday with Kelly. Flashbacks of Kelly's birth, Kelly saying she loves seeing her parents together, Steffy smiling and reminding Kelly they'll always be a family and telling Liam she is there for him if he needs her. These scenes are coming shortly before Liam uncovers the truth about Hope and it's not a coincidence.

She told him the truth about Hope and Thomas, even if she promised Hope she wouldn't. That's where I smell trouble. Steffy was wrong. If she wanted to tell Liam, then she should have told Hope to kick rocks and owned her choice. What she did was sneaky, it reminds me of when she told Wyatt the truth about Ivy and Thomas. She promised Liam she wouldn't say anything but the next day Wyatt came to her office and she blabbed. If she didn't intend to tell Liam, she shouldn't have hugged and promised Hope she would keep quiet. She wasn't honest with Finn either when she told him she would try to believe Hope and give her the benefit of the doubt. If that was true, she wouldn't have said anything to Liam behind Hope's back. Finn didn't seem too happy either, by the way. This is one of the first time he disagrees with Steffy. He also has some annoyed looks on his face when he sees Steffy with Liam. He already forgave a lot and there are so many things he doesn't even know. If Liam ends up single and Steffy doesn't set boundaries with him, he is gonna be fed up. I am already seeing first signs of frustration from him. Nothing serious so far, but it's coming. It can only get worse if Liam's marriage ends and if Steffy doesn't set boundaries.

There is also this inconvenient fact that Steffy may be headed to a romantic city with her ex and without her husband. Not saying something will happen, but that's just another worrying clue foreshadowing troubles.

I disagree that Steffy shouldn’t have told Liam and don’t consider it sneaky at all. She did tell both Hope and Finn that she wouldn’t say anything to Liam, and I believe that was her intention, but how much badgering can one take? Liam wouldn’t take no for an answer and when he said he feels a vibe between Thope that he can’t put his finger on sitting there in silence would have been tantamount to lying imo. She probably felt she lied to him already, looking back on reassuring him that he had nothing to worry about concerning his marriage. She doesn’t think that anymore. And maybe Liam can stop Hope from derailing her brother. I think Liam obsessing over Thomas working with Hope was already getting on both Steffy and Finn’s nerves when it was all about reassuring Liam about Thomas. I saw Steffy rolling her eyes, and Finn making faces, several times at the sight of Liam, and not only during the silly episode where he kept interrupting Sinn kissing. Now that Steffy is onboard with the obsessing since finding out about Hope’s feelings, Finn looks more outwardly annoyed, and I agree it will lead to trouble between them.
