Hope Hit All the Classic Signs of Deception

3 non-answers, a deflection, 2 lies, and Hope defending her man with her whole body. That's what Liam got out of Hope today. The fact that she took so long to even get to a straight answer should be concerning to Liam. Deflecting to something else and avoiding answering the question is also reason for suspicion. Hope defending Thomas with her whole being should be setting off alarm bells in Liam's head. I'm glad Liam realized that Hope could be in denial about her feelings. I can't believe that she just bald-faced lied to her husband. Hope isn't fooling anyone with all those tears and that meaningless reassurance of love. Yeah, she loves Liam but she also loves Thomas and those two things cannot co-exist. Hope only made things worse and exacerbated the pain she's gonna cause Liam with what she did today.

Hope had a couple of opportunities today to set things on a better course and didn’t take them. She could have given some credit to Liam when he suggested she might be in denial because she has been before, and said then maybe they should go to a marriage counselor to make sure that’s not what’s happening. She knows she has these feelings, and she knows she’s torn about what to do with them, so that would have helped her. She also could have said although she won’t let Liam dictate who she can and can’t work with, because she sees how bothered he is she will make some changes. She’ll work from home more and ask Thomas to work from home more, she’ll have Zende be with them more when they’re together, she won’t model for him anymore, she won’t hint for massages anymore or allow any touching at all. She can still do those things to help herself and to keep it professional for real, so let’s see what she does next.
