when liam finds out, it won't even be about the feelings anymore, it will be about how many times he flat out asked her directly and hope lied about it, she's had every opportunity to come clean, but she continues to lie to his face repeatedly
He knows she is lying....the look on his face when he was hugging her said it all....and I think he knows she is having a mental crisis. He also now knows, this is not on Tom, other than Tom created the mess for years that has led to this situation.
I was shocked that she did not tell him to leave if he did not like it, but she was afraid, desperate and in utter despair and shame. IMO She is terrified of losing Liam over this mess....and she is going to lose Liam, and may never get him back.
We have everyone now telling Tom how proud they are of him, and that basically, they are happy he understands he can never have or cross a line with Hope, no matter what. LOL. Even if Hope throws her body on top of him, if he does not push her away, everyone is going to think he caused this mess. And, he sort of did when he did all the things he did to Lope and Beth and Brooke.
