Thomas doesn't want Beth. Every family fantasy he's had with Hope includes Thomas, Hope and Douglas. Beth has never been in any one of them. Even when Thomas was rehired recently he imagined him, Douglas and Hope together. Thomas will probably suggest Steffy take care of Beth.
