I can only find a small clip. This scene comes after Brooke told Hope that she was not a mistake but that she Brooke was ashamed of having an affair with her daughters husband. Maybe Hope is not angry about Brooke scandals in general. Maybe she’s angry that her mother is so ashamed of the Breacon affair. I don’t know I’m grasping for straws and I admit it.

I think Hope may have some resentment for how she came to be. I think that her mother has been judged and talked about so much that she feels the weight of trying to be the opposite of Brooke. Years ago Rick said that he had to deal with kids in school talking about his mom especially her being with Ridge who was his brother & stepfather. I’m sure the same happened to Hope most of her life. Brooke is well known not only for her business acumen but for her scandals as well.
