SOD about Hope's heart racing

They are playing the sound of Hope's heart beating louder and faster in almost every episodes now. The first time was when she was sitting at her office and staring at a portrait of Thomas on her desk. Again when Thomas massaged her neck and in numerous other scenes in the meantime. It always happens when she thinks about Thomas, when he touches her or when she is alone and close to him in a room.

In every romantic movies or TV shows I've watched, whenever someone's heart speeds up it's done on purpose to show the character is falling in love with another person. It's a classic cinematography move to illustrate the burgeoning love between 2 people. The interpretation in SoapOperaDigest goes in the same direction. I don't know if it's from the last issue of SOD or from 2 weeks ago, but there is a small article with some quotes. One of them describes one of these scenes, when they work on a design and her heart races. The title is ''passion plays'' and the exact quote is :
''Hope's feelings for Thomas make her heart race as they work side by side on a design''. It totally corresponds the logical interpretation. Her love for him make her heart race.

Google love and heart racing, all the websites tell you similar things!
