Daytime Emmy Nominations Tomorrow 4/26

I am torn about this. I am not sure winning Emmys is very rewarding lately. B&B won the Emmy of the best show in 2019 and the quality of the writing deteriorated a lot since then. The 3 other soaps are all much better. Scott Clifton won the Emmy of the best actor in 2017 and afterwards, the writing for Liam has gone haywire. JMW won in 2020 for the addiction storyline, and it was the last entertaining storyline for Steffy. The last 2 years were all about her rivalry with Sheila and then the parent trap, the actress deserves better. JMO

I'm fine if B&B leaves empty-handed. They can always bounce back later.

The last time B&B won Outstanding Drama Series was in 2011 actually.....It has been over a decade haha

Bell won for the outstanding writing on Lope's baby Beth story (2019).

And JMW won the Emmy for Lead actress. (2019, 2021) Not sure if they won anything else or not.

Right. And 2 Lope's songs won Bell 2 Emmys.

Yep and JMW is up for her 3rd one with this year's nom. Rooting for B&B to have a good year.

I'll wait and see the rest tomorrow. Personally, I don't think the writing has been that good.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
