Do you think it would be good for the acctress ? it certainly will make her less dull…and Hope certainly could shake it up on this show …..she gets a role that is not so vanilla….heck I am not fast forwarding her now… she gets to show her acting skills and who knows could get Emmy material out of it …….

I agree that this is the most interesting Hope I've seen since this actress plays her.

Please define "cheating". There are so many different levels of cheating on soap operas. Even an innocent hug can be seen as cheating by some characters. When Ridge found Brooke and Bill hugging, he got mad and stormed out. When Maya found Caroline and Ridge hugging, she concluded they were cheating on Rick.
When Liam kissed Steffy in Italy, Hope thought it was cheating and dumped him. So if a kiss = cheating, then Hope is a serial cheater.

I think Hope is already cheating right now, in her own way. If she really loves Liam more than Thomas or her line, she would have broken the contract pronto after the fall on the couch. But nothing physical happened yet. A lot of things can happen between Thomas and Hope from now on.
- A hug
- A kiss
- Several kisses
- A ONS
- Several nights
More likely nothing. Nothing will happen as long as she is married and unseparated from Liam. But she has strong feelings for Thomas, this part can't be overlooked. If Liam and Hope separate and Thomas is still available, then they will be together.

This is what I would like to see. Hope and Thomas together without lies and cheating. Just 2 people who love each other and decide to give each other a chance. If it doesn't last who cares. They can't know for sure if they don't try.

As someone who likes both pairings (Lope and Thope), this is exactly what I'd like to see. A well written love story, no cheating. Hope fighting her attraction for Thomas for a few months until she realizes she can't go on like this. She gets honest with Liam and he gives her an out. He doesn't leave her, but he draws divorce papers and lets her decide if she wants to sign them or tear them up. So far I'm enjoying the writing and it's happening exactly the way I wished. I hope it continues. Even if Thope get together, they can still revisit Lope later, I'm not worried about that.

A Thope one-night stand is the worst thing that could happen to this storyline. I sincerely hope this isn't where it's going.
