Hope's attraction - there were signs long before

It was obvious the only person on her mind was Beth when they were married. That's what I said in my first comment. But there was a shift later.

I think it may have started when she thought she killed him. When he appeared in her bedroom, she jumped into his arms and coudln't let it go. It looked like it was a lot more than relief. I don't know exactly when it started but there were signs, especially last year. The looks, the eyeing when he changed his shirt, the ''hot'' comment with Paris and the tears in her eyes when after he tried to kiss her, etc..

She thought she could have accidentally killed someone, of course she would be happy she didn't. The "hot" comment has been soooooo taken out of context and Hope had to be coaxed to say it and she followed it up with the fact that HER HUSBAND is the HOTTEST MAN on the planet, so that is nothing. Paris wouldn't leave her alone, FGS. She was trying to feel good about the line and had thought Thomas changed, then there he was again being a disingenuous AHOLE. Yet nothing is said about the sheer glee Steffy shows when talking about possible problems in Lope's marriage for something Steffy insisted HAD to happen!

That's exactly what I am saying. All those examples/scenes were ambiguous at the time. It wasn't clear what it was. Why did she stare at Thomas' bare chest like that? Why did she cry and looked so heartbroken when she rejected his kiss after the fashion show? Why did she have dizziness when he put his hands on her. Why did they look at each other in the eyes like that after they fell on the couch? Why admit that he is hot, no matter how much Paris insisted? All those scenes were ambiguous.

But now that she is having several fantasies and visions of Thomas, it all starts to make sense. And my interpretation is that she has been attracted to Thomas for a long time. Maybe it will be something else, maybe not. We will see.
