Other shows have brought in love interests for women Brooke’s age. It’s happened on YR quite a few times.

But B&B can't really be compared to shows that have a much bigger cast. With Ridge, Eric, Bill and Deacon, there are already 4 male characters over 50 on the show. So as long as neither of them leaves, the chances are next to nothing that Bell will ever put a new guy Brooke's age on contract or bring back any of her other exes for more than a guest appearance.
