Hope falling for the man who stalked her and helped keep her baby from her is a little weird.

the timing is also bizarre, usually a spouse falling for someone outside the marriage suggests marital problems or unhappiness like when quinn was ignored sexually by eric so she turned to and fell in love with carter, but unless hope has been lying, she and liam are happily married and have been for years, also liam hasn't been back and forth in years so what's hope's reasons for falling for thomas now when she hadn't before? she doesn't love liam anymore? is she bored? can't control herself? i have zero interest in hope and thomas but i am curious to hear what hope's reasons are here

Most soap characters have loved 2 people at the same time at once. Steffy is with Finn but she would waffle if Liam was actively chasing her. Liam isn't waffling now but he would be Steffy was chasing him. I think this is going to be like Lope vs Hott. Hope will be torn, but she will always love Liam more. They will be manipulated but maybe not by Thomas this time. Thomas will still be the interloper but in a different way. But in the end it will always be Liam and Hope.

I have to give you that the timing is bizarre. This could have happened any time in the last 4 years, when Liam was in jail for instance. Why now, that's what I'm wondering.
