Hope dragging Sheila and defending Thomas in same sentence

Does she hear herself? I thought her reaction about Sheila was over-the-top. Liam's too. Sheila's never done anything to them. Hope has never interacted with Sheila alone. Their only scene was when she was having dinner at Il-Giardino and she came accross her and Deacon. She isn't the one who was shot or ran off the road by Sheila. Who is she to bad-mouth her and decide the children need to be protected from Sheila ?

What makes her so hypocritical is when she parises her male version a few seconds later. What's different between them lately ? Thomas conspired with Sheila against her mother. Thomas ran a car off the road and smiled, just like Sheila. Thomas loves threatening to kill obstacles, like Sheila. Thomas has been involved in a baby switch just like Sheila. He is always obsessed with people he can't have, like Sheila. He loves to play the victim and claim he has changed, like Sheila. I don't recall Sheila threatening a 5 years old child on the other hand. Hope was one of his biggest victims. If it weren't for Liam and Douglas she'd still mourn Beth today. If it weren't for Liam he'd have thrown her into the helicopter and taken her out of LA with him, possibly forever. Brooke's marriage was burnt to ashes because of Thomas. Yet she doesn't mind working with him, confiding , becoming his friend (maybe more), defending him letting him spend time with her daughter. But she is so concerned about Sheila and proud of Bill ? This is laughable. Bell doesn't even try anymore, with her.
