Again Hopes lines a flop

Since Eric and Zende designed Hope's last line, if it is a flop, then so are the Forresters. I guess it is time to close shop because the Forresters have lost their touch.

I guess so. I would do battle with anyone saying Eric can't design. That's my man, but if he and Zende can't do it, and Ridge is MIA, well...the Forresters are the ones destroying their own business.

I was surprised when they had Eric's designs not being a hit just to make Thomas look good. It wasn't that many years ago that Thomas' designs were not up to par when Caroline was trying to get Ridge to use them. I think that was about the time that Douglas was born.

Yeah, I think it's bad form to throw Eric under the bus for any reason when it comes to designing. The only right way to do his decline is in a storyline about arthritis or nerve damage or something that causes him to be unable to put on paper what's in his head. Eric deserves way better after all these decades than for it to just be a non-hit with no real reason why.
