Is it possible that this was some setup? The open-toed shoes are weird like why would she suddenly have on sandals in Dec (it is not sandal weather here) when we have never seen the toe exposed before? It would make sense if there were scenes where Deacon mentioned she has to stop wearing sandals or she is going to get caught. Why, now, when she knows that they suspect she is alive, would she go out in a sandal?
Also, why was she going to the bathroom there when she had just left Deacon's house? When you are on the run, you don't typically show your face in a popular establishment, not to mention the crime scene.
Why didn't she immediately start running when she realized it was Steffy?
Is the writing really just that bad?

Yep.I was wondering all this. I don't know who's half-ass writing this. I really didn't get the bathroom thing. That and the sandals were just contrived.

To what end? We know Steffy is back net week barking about how daddy needs to be on top of mommy. That makes no sense at all. LOL. We know definitely that Sheila is not going to harm or kidnap Steffy on Monday. We know that she is going to be on the run. And, we know the following week that Steffy goes and confesses something to the cops? Like what? She shot herself? LOL. Or when she bumped into Sheila she told her to go? I mean this is really either badly written or heading into some really weird direction.

The promo implies it not a daydream so I wonder if it is part of a plan. Now everyone is looking for a blond and she changes if up again? Whatever it is I think this story is going to take a weird turn.
