Why on earth would Sheila wear open toe shoes?
Sheila knows that people know that she is alive and the missing toe is a dead giveaway. She goes to all of that trouble with the mask and wig to hide or identity but wears open toe shoes. I guess she is going to pay the price for being fashionable.
Could it have been on purpose??
Yes. Sheila loves to tempt fate. I think she lives for it. Must need the thrill of playing her version of cat and mouse.
